We left Monday morning after saying goodbye to our family. Tom and Shannon flew back to North Carolina. Jake, Allie and the girls drove back to Bakersfield, California. We had a great time and we are so grateful for our children and grandchildren. We went to Grant's doctor in Salt Lake (everything is great, just as we expected). Then we went to Spanish Fork to visit with his sister and family. The next day we got up and went to Gunlock, Utah . We helped his sister a little with picking up trash, as the workmen are just throwing things out of the house as they work on it. Afton (Grant's sister) and her husband's house was flooded last year. This is the second time in three years. They have had the house raised up five feet and put a cement foundation under it. It is a beautiful home and a shame that this has happen to them. When it is finished I will put a picture of it on this site.The first picture is of the Ruby Mountains near Wells, Nevada. The second picture is on our way to Gunlock, Utah over a mountain pass. The third picture is on our way to St. George, Utah. I just wanted show the different areas that we went. I love the mountains and I love Nevada.

My sister Sarah's in-laws live in Gunlock. I'm sure your family would know them since I don't believe Gunlock is too big. Their names are Terry and Randi Taylor.
